Minimum Hire

Please note our minimum hire fee is $500, excluding delivery fees. 


Deposit

A non-refundable booking fee (25% of the total booking amount including hire and delivery fees) is required at the time of the booking. Final payment of the remaining 75% of the total booking cost shall be paid no later than 14 days prior to the event date. All payments must be made by the direct deposit into Bluebird Vintage Hire’s nominated bank account and by the due date specified. Please note that should final payment not be made within 14 days prior to the event date, Bluebird Vintage Hire reserves the right to forego supply of any equipment for the event. No deposit will be returned if the booking is cancelled.


Security Bond

Bluebird Vintage Hire reserves the right to request a security bond to cover equipment hire. The bond amount will charged at 50% of the total booking fee or $200, whichever is higher. Any damaged, missing or heavily soiled / permanently stained items will be charged at full replacement cost. We understand accidents sometimes happen, so in the event of a light/moderate stain, a nominal cleaning cost will be deducted from the bond amount. Retained bond amount will be returned within 14 days after the event date.


Damage, lost, stolen or unclean equipment

All goods hired are the responsibility of the client from the time of delivery / pickup until they are returned to or reclaimed by Bluebird Vintage Hire. The client is liable to pay the full replacement cost of any equipment which has been badly damaged, lost or stolen. The client will pay any incidental repair costs for damaged equipment. Any damaged equipment will be assessed at the discretion of Bluebird Vintage Hire. (This includes if the item can be repaired or if it requires replacement). Burns, holes, tears, water damage or other similar damage to equipment shall be replaced at full cost to the client.

Any individual piece of equipment returned unclean to Bluebird Vintage Hire, shall incur a minimum cleaning fee of $100.00. The client shall pay the full cost of returning the equipment to a clean condition.

The client shall endeavour to protect the equipment from the elements during the time of hire. In poor weather conditions, storage of the equipment may be necessary and is the responsibility of the client to see that the equipment is stored safely and without damage . Any equipment damaged from weather is the full responsibility of the client and shall be paid at full replacement cost to Bluebird Vintage Hire.


Delivery, Collection and Setup

Associated fees will be charged to the client for any installation of equipment, delivery and/or collection. Delivery fees will be charged at $3.00 per kilometre travelled from / to the Bluebird Vintage Hire’s premises (3844, Traralgon, VIC).  Standard delivery fee to Traralgon is $50. Unless a setup schedule & associated fees have been discussed and agreed upon by Bluebird Vintage Hire and the client, we will not responsible for the setup of equipment.


Photos and Social Media

 

 

We love seeing client photos on social media, just as much as we love sharing them so others can
get a glimpse of the unique items we have available! On payment, the client agrees to publicly release
images for advertising and marketing means. Photos may be shared on Bluebird Vintage Hire's
Facebook, Instagram or Website, unless otherwise stated by the client.

Bluebird Vintage Hire shall in no way be held responsible or accountable for any injury, death or loss of income caused to the client, any third parties or properties due to the hire of equipment or any provided services.
